Raleigh, NC – May 8, 2017 – At its sold-out Spring Technology Summit in Austin, Texas recently, the Real Estate Standards Organization, or RESO, honored more than two-dozen of its leaders and members for their outstanding personal contributions with its 2017 Spring Tech Summit Awards. Collectively these individuals contributed thousands of annual volunteer hours to the seven RESO Workgroups and one key committee, which drive the organizations vision to streamline the real estate industry.
Jeremy Crawford, CEO of RESO, first announced the Awards recognizing RESO's 2016 officers:
Crawford then honored the chairs of the seven Workgroups and its Technical Committee, including:
"Each of these leaders selflessly volunteered their time, talent and energy all to promote a common RESO goal," said Crawford," "The support of their companies has been simply incredible as has this massive volunteer support, which is helping to drive efficiency throughout the real estate industry."
On behalf of each Workgroup Chair, Crawford gave final award recognition to 17 individual RESO members whose contributions went "above and beyond" throughout 2016 he said, including:
"Volunteers are the lifeblood of RESO," Crawford said, "and these individuals collective efforts is what's shaping real estate data standards for the future," Crawford added. "Our hope is the examples they set will encourage others to join and become more involved in our Workgroups," he added, noting Workgroups are open to all RESO members, with call-in meetings held monthly.
